Tickets available on the gate from £15. Come and enjoy a day at the races in the sunshine!
Join us for a day out in April as we jump into spring and host our penultimate raceday of the season. As the days are getting longer and the weather is getting warmer, there is always time to squeeze in one last visit to Cheltenham racecourse.
Day two of The April Meeting is principally a showcase for keeping National Hunt mares in training, with the seven race card being exclusively for mares. The fixture provides the mares in training with greater opportunities and great prize money so keep a lookout for potential future talents.
Last year the April Meeting saw local trainer Martin Keighley's Brillare Momento score, before going onto win this season at The Showcase meeting. Midnight Tour, trained by Alan King won at this meeting last year, and finished an impressive second at The Festival™ in the OLBG Mares' Hurdle.
The meeting is perfect for racing fans looking for a quieter meet, with the opportunity of watching your favourite trainers and horses before the jump season draws to a close for the summer.
Come along for a fantastic day of racing, with bars and restaurants open to suit all palettes throughout the day. Don't forget, under 18's come racing free of charge!
Gates open at 12:00; First race at 2:05pm; Last race 5:35pm.
The Club & Tattersalls Enclosure are combined for this meeting. You will have access to the widest choice of viewing and refreshment options, including wonderful views from our main grandstand viewing steps and lawn; the Paddock and Winners Enclosure viewing steps to study the horses pre and post-race; the centre of the course by the final fence (weather permitting); a wide choice of bars, betting and eating options; all the bookmakers in the betting ring; extensive totepool betting facilities and finally The Centaur and the Hall of Fame.
Please note that all prices include VAT and a booking fee applies to all transactions.
Directly opposite the main grandstand, the Best Mate Enclosure offers tremendous value with a great view of the racing, from a head on position.
The modern, bright grandstand, which was built in 2004 , offers a variety of food choices plus extensive betting facilities and bars.
It does not offer access to the Parade Ring.
