The 2016 Cheltenham Timico Gold Cup was won is style by the Gordon Elliott trained 9/4f Don Cossack ridden by Bryan Cooper. Pushed into the lead as they approached the last he powered up the hill to win by 4 ½ lengths ahead of the gallant Djakadam and Don Poli, a further 10 lengths behind.

Directly opposite the main grandstand, the Best Mate Enclosure offers tremendous value with a great view of the racing, from a head on position.
The modern, bright grandstand, which was built in 2004 , offers a variety of food choices plus extensive betting facilities and bars.
It does not offer access to the Parade Ring.

Overlooking the paddock, adjacent to the Members’ Lawn and Guinness Grandstand, you will be able to watch the horses leave and victorious horses return to the parade ring from your chalet balcony.
Available only at the festival, each chalet accommodates up to 32 guests for lunch or more, guests can be accommodated with a buffet style menu and occasional seating. It is a condition of booking that a minimum number of 20 Club enclosure tickets and catering packages are ordered.
Located in the heart of The Village the private booths can accommodate parties from 10 guests upwards.
