One of the premium restaurants on offer during The Festival, Chez Roux at Cheltenham offers everything that a discerning diner could want. Not only is world-renowned chef Albert Roux the master of the menu, the view of the racecourse, especially the last and second last fences offers a great seat from which to watch the action, with a balcony for guests to enjoy during the afternoon’s entertainment. Albert Roux, who has been part of this restaurant for the past two years, started his career at Le Gavroche where he made his name but his annual visit to Cheltenham is one that he always enjoys. A racing fan himself, Albert designs the menu with seasonality in mind, as well as a touch of Irish flavour to celebrate the relationship with the Emerald Isle and Cheltenham.
The package offers a champagne reception with canapés, a delicious four course menu and beautiful afternoon tea - all drinks are also included. We are certain that you will not enjoy food of better quality on a racecourse than at Chez Roux at Cheltenham and recommend that this is the restaurant in which to entertain family, friends or clients.
Situated within The Village, the facility is on the third floor of the temporary structure which sits abreast of the course for The Festival – at Cheltenham we do things big and this structure is the longest three storey temporary structure ever built in Europe, not that you would know it is temporary. Features of the room include a stunning wooden bar, phone charging points, a sofa seated area and private betting facilities.
Prices start at £770 per person for the Tuesday and Wednesday and £815 per person for the Thursday of The Festival™. Gold Cup Day is sold out.
